    I spoke with someone at the mfg. plant that this compressor came from. He said that someone in maintenance recently spent a lot of money on parts and time rebuilding something on the compressor. When they powered the compressor up it had a vibration in it. He wasn't sure what work had just be performed on it, but that the maintenance guy that did it was no longer with the company. He said the plant manager was upset over the money spent and the machine still wasn't running right. They couldn't afford any more down time and just bought a new compressor.
