WWII GERMAN ORIGINAL FORESTRY GREATCOAT
Used
Original WWII German Forestry officers Greatcoat.
A fantastic Greatcoat for a Forestry official, this ones
named and date 1943.
Green wool coat
with the medium green soft cloth collar, the collar is piped in Silver wire and has the collar tabs hand sewn on.  The tabs are green with Silver wire trim and Silver bullion oak leafs and acorns.  The shoulder boards are also Green based, with a darker Green twist cord top and a single Silver wash acorn to each.  Greatcoat has  all matching buttons, some show light wear.  The liner is full and a satin material, soft green.  In the neck area is the tailors silk tag, the tag is fraying as seen in the pictures.  Also in the liner is the dagger slot.  Inside the inner pocket is the name tag, matching to the neck tag, and has the
owners name and Forestry rank, and also dated 1943.
This coat is nice, I do not see any damage, nor any mothing, in the liner, at the bottom has a few light stains, but minor.
