Hand Crocheted White Fan Holder and White Lace Fan Civil War Style Accessory

Unique, dainty, hand crocheted fan holder with a sandalwood fan. The holder can be worn bracelet style on the wrist. It can also be hung from a button sewn to the waistband of your skirt or simply pinned to the waist band. It keeps the fan accessible when you need it, but out of the way for dancing.
The holders are hand crocheted in 100% cotton thread. They are approximately 9" long and 2" wide. The nature of the stitch allows for some stretch so the holder will hold most styles of hand fans. Included with the holder is a new white lace fan. The fan is 9 1/2" long when closed. It has pretty white staves, the base of the staves and the end staves are decorated with gold highlights. The base of the fan has a decorative piercings. The staves are covered with floral patterned white lace edged with scalloped lace. The fan is not period correct with plastic staves and rayon lace, but is perfect for an impression of the period.
