    Description

    These hand puppets come from the Highlight's comic series Goofus and Gallant.   The 40s comic characters were elves; but since the 50s they've been in their current human form.  The hand puppets were made in the 1970s.  My set lacks the play ticket and the puppets name tags, "Goofus" and "Gallant."   The heads are made of pliant rubber; the rest are fabric, silk-like or silk.  I see no defects in either puppet.
