S.O.S.L. FIELD CD BOOM BOX MK II WITH CASSETTE   NX-211
TESTED!!
AM / FM radio tested. Both work great.
Both speakers working as is the headphone jack.
All lights and switches work.
Measures nearly 20” long.
Tested with a CD. Played beautifully.
Tested with a cassette. YES a cassette. All functions work great and sounded great!
Runs on 8 “D” batteries (not included) or a 12V AC adaptor not included.
Nice clean battery compartment with complete battery cover.
Has a few marks see photos. A couple of the plastic chrome corner covers cracked.
Antenna is nice and straight and works well – not sure if original or not.
The cassette door opens very slowly when changing tapes. But it works!
CD door closes a little crooked. Nothing seems broken and it latches just fine and plays. You just need to turn the door just a little to close it.
Beautiful larger radio. We had fun testing it out!
Vintage radio equipment tested as of 07-10-21. We are not able to guarantee future performance but it all works currently!
