Vintage 1940's Executone Intercom 302-DS w/ Bluetooth Stereo Conversion

This is another really cool intercom that had seen better days. 1940's Executone model 302-DS I was able to secure online.  It needed TLC with dirt/dust inside and out. I really like the industrial shape of  the case especially the walnut veneer & speaker grille. And I wanted to see how I could get two speakers & amp inside a small space and work. Yes make it a real stereo. Here it is. The dirty dark varnish on outside was removed, sanded, refinished and now it looks good.  Several coats of gloss lacquer made a big difference. Added copper paint to the nameplate & bezels as a contrast to the walnut. On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth mini digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 40 watts in addition to 2 new 3" multi range stereo speakers. The amp is controlled on/off/volume from your input device. Nice to have this option.  the speakers sounds real good in this small case.  All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to interior to insure a long life. Tight fit. I was also able to keep the original period speaker cloth. This little Bluetooth speaker screams classic industrial deco cool. It weighs in at 2lbs and measures a small 11" x 6" x 3".
