    Our Wild Dagga is Organically grown and harvested here at Highwinds Farm kept in the greenhouse until June then planted and picked in Sept or Oct when the flowers are blooming.
    Leonotis leonurus (Wild Dagga, Lion's Tail) species is also used in Eastern medicine as euphoriant, purgative, and vermifuge.
    Leonotis leonurus Commonly called Lion's Tail because of the Lion's-tail-looking blossoms that grow from the ends of the plant.
    In traditional African medicine Leonotis has been widely used as a part of many different treatments. It is also used in case of a snake bite and as a charm to keep snakes away.
    The infusions made from flowers and seeds, leaves or stems are widely used to treat tuberculosis, jaundice, muscle cramps, high blood pressure, diabetes, viral hepatitis, dysentery, and diarrhea. The leaves, roots and bark are used as an emetic for snake bites, bee and scorpion stings The fresh stem juice is used as an infusion drunk for 'blood impurity' in some places of South Africa
